Featured Author - Amanda Bernardo

Amanda Bernardo is a Canadian children’s book author, public sector leader, and mother who writes to help families navigate the conversations that matter most. Her stories gently open the door to topics that are often overlooked or difficult to explain -  building confidence, emotional awareness, resilience, and hope in ways that feel accessible and empowering. Through her books, Amanda supports children in finding their inner strength while giving parents the language and tools to guide meaningful, lasting conversations at home.

Amanda is the author of Little Voice and The Lighthouse, and their French counterparts, and The Road to You - her newest title launching this March!  

Samantha from ReadAbilities previously created the beautiful illustrations for both Little Voice and The Lighthouse.

With each book, she continues her mission to create stories that meet families in real moments and remind children that who they are, and how they feel, truly matters.
